Don't be surprised when the percussionist comes out from behind the congas and welcomes you to Cherry Street Worship, he's our pastor.
And don't be surprised when our pastor isn't always the speaker. At Cherry Street we believe in learning in community. This means that many from our community have something to say guide our faith-journey - tales from their own faith-journeys. Our speaking team work together to "color in" the topics we consider.
His sermons deal with real life issues, casting the trials faced by biblical characters in a light that we can use to apply the lessons they learned to our lives today.
Of course the Message isn't new. Jesus began teaching people that anyone can be His apprentice 2000 years ago. We strive to let everyone know that this is still "good news".
We simply want to make sure that the Word that became flesh doesn't get turned back into just words again.
