Real People

"Keep it real" is so played . . . but we think you'll find people doing their best to be real with themselves and each other. Maybe "honest" is the right word.

We hope that you won't find any false pretenses or condemning attitudes (be sure to let us know if you do so we fix it). In fact we're pretty sure you'll find people just like yourself . . . who are okay with diversity, tired of playing games to make life without God work, and able to accept people "in progress".

For us community is not a commodity. Don't expect to come and consume love. You can do that for a while as you heal and get your strength back. But what keeps the Cherry Street Worship Community living and vibrant is that everyone has a part to play. We believe that we are apprentices of the world's greatest Giver who gives everything away - even His own Son. And we want nothing less for ourselves except that we would be given away to do what each of us was wired to do.

We hope you find that you fit at Cherry Street. If you're meant to be here it won't be the same without you.
